"We'll Take It From Here" World Tour preparation

This Summer, Joe Cantafio & the 101st Rock Division will be returning to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other Middle Eastern destinations, to entertain American and Coalition Troops on the frontline.  When they return, they will head across America on a domestic military base tour, covering up to 80 bases in 27 states.  Entertainers from all areas of show-business, super-star athletes, and American icons, will Join Joe and the band at different bases.  Those dates will be posted soon... Joe joins US Congressman Peter Roskam and Peter's wife Elizabeth, the Grand Marshals of the parade.  Joe will be on Peter's float singing and playing his guitar.  The parade will begin on Spring St. and Wilson Avenue, and then head north.

Marking the 22 Anniversary of the Welcome Home Parade for our Vietnam Veterans, Joe will be performing at the "Moving Wall - Vietnam Veteran Memorial" at Oak Hill Cemetery in Marrionette Park, Illinois, located at the corner of 119th Street and Kedzie. The ceremony will begin with Joe singing the National Anthem. General John Borling, a Vietnam Veteran and a POW will be the keynote speaker. Joe will also sing "They're All Not On The Wall," "Brave Warrior" and "God Bless the USA." Joe will be representing USO-Illinois.

Dennis asked Joe to perform at his wedding, but when the wedding date fell on the same day as the Skokie event, the event planners offered to marry the Col. and Carleen at their event. Carleen is from Chicago, so this all worked out. The wedding is at 4:00; Joe and the 101st start at approximately 4:30 and the Ides of March start at 8:00 PM.
